For Americans looking for looking for a new poker site, Sportsbook Poker is the place to go. I was so mad when they banned withdrawals with credit cards from poker sites. Almost all of the good poker sites you go to now won’t let you play at all. Sportsbook Poker is one of the very few sites that I found that let U.S. players on, and their payment systems aren’t complicated either. In fact, Sportsbook only accepts U.S. players. This site accepts major credit cards for deposits, and it can be as low as $20 dollars. Even if you’ve tried you credit card at other sites and it didn’t work, this one will probably take it. When you want to withdrawal, you can either have a FedEx check, or have the money deposited directly into your checking account.  They are the most convenient methods for withdrawal out there at this point, so it’s very handy to have both options.

 
The site itself doesn’t have an extremely large amount of players, but the ones that are on there do not play very well.  You won’t have a problem finding busy tables in anything up to $10/$20 dollar limits through. Every fifteen minutes the site runs a tournament and it will bring in about 300-500 players. The Bounty tournament is one of the best tournaments in my opinion, and I haven’t found another site that offers it yet.  Half of the buy-in is your bounty, and once you take out a player, you gain their bounty. The prize pool is then distributed between the winners. Even if you didn’t get 1st place, you still have a chance to make good money.

 
Once you register, you will have the chance to take advantage of the first deposit bonuses. Sportsbook Poker has the highest system on the market right now. New players get a 100% bonus of what their first deposit was, up to $1,000 dollars. 10% of that is instantly deposited into your account as well. When I started, the extra money just made the game even easier. You don’t have to have very much skill to win.
Other promotions are done through reloads, and Gold Cards or Chips. The Gold Cards will come up in the deck every once in a while. If you make a hand out of it, you will receive extra cash.  Gold chips are obtained while you play, and they can be used to buy into special freerolls.

 
My favorite bonus is a freeroll in which the prize pool is based on how many points are scored during the football game. Every Monday night during the NFL season, players can participate in the freeroll. A private tournament is done every week for players who have put in their first deposit. It is only available to the players who have made their first deposit that week, so players have relatively no experience what so ever.
