If you play poker online, you are sure to know the famous Tom “durrr” Dwan. He has won hundreds of dollars by playing online poker games like no-limit Hold’em. Another game that Tom “durrr” Dwan plays is pot-limit Omaha. If you know him, you would actually be surprised to hear that he had a rough week of online poker play.
Dwan decided to play against some really good players. The people he played against were : Patrick Antonius, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, Steve “Zugwat” Silverman, David Benyamine and Di “Urindanger”Dang. If you think he had a hard time on just a couple of hands, you are wrong. He actually battled throughout the whole game and managed to somehow sustain around $885,000…not in wins, but in losses. The whole evening he played, he had a hard time just getting a really good hand that he could actually keep.
When he was playing Omaha, Samahies was actually his biggest benefactor, and the one that earned most of the honors with Hold’em was Galfond. Galfond did not have a bad night at all. He actually picked up $104,000 by the time the game was over.
After he had such a rough night and lost so much, Dwan decided that he should play again the next day so he could make up some of what he lost. He was able to get around $100,000 in wins the next day, but he was still very short on money after the big loss the day before.
One thing that people are surprised the most by about Dwan is that he played against a newcomer named “kingofcards”. He played a great game. Kingofcards didn’t get the mega-tilt, and he wound up actually turning up his two sets of kings, and Dwan went all in with a 3 and 7. Because Dwan decided to go all in, he ended up winning the game. If he would have picked something else, he wouldn’t have won. Earlier, Dwan also raised the hand with $16,300, which really helped him out later on in the game.
Dwan is not going to give up playing poker just because he had a bad night at first. He is going to keep on playing and improving his skills. He proved that when he won with Kingofcards. Dwans fans are really impressed with him and they will continue betting on him online as he proves himself little bit by little bit to the online poker world, and he shows that he has what it takes and that he won’t let anyone down.
